I soon will be putting a SoundQubed 2200.2 in my car, and am trying to determine what type of battery I should upgrade to. My stock battery is a 750 CCA lead acid EverStart. I was looking on XS power's website for the batteries they reccomend for what wattage system. For a starter battery for systems up to 2500w, they reccomend their D2400 which has 670 CCA. What is the main difference between the two really?

No, agm battery's can sustain a large load for good amount of time. Hence the amp hour rating, a standard let acid battery can only put out bursts of high power since the starter does not take long to crank the engine.

If I were you ide go to sams club auto section, no membership required and get a energizer agm in your cars size. Be around 175

That makes a lot more sense. I'll definitely take a look at them. Like I said, I'm going to be about 2500w, so what kind of specs on the battery should I look for?

Just get the biggest agm you can fit under the hood. Then give it a test bump and check your drops. If it hits below 12V add another battery or upgrade your alternator

I believe Sams club sells Duracell
i just bought a energizer from sams club 3 weeks ago //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Energizer AGM Automotive Battery - Group Size 65 - Sam's Club

Im running around 2.1-2.3K total wattage a full tilt, IA 20.1 and a SQ 90.4 with that battery and stock 136amp alt. With no big 3 the biggest drop i see is 12.8V.
