ur missing the point... L7 is a newer line, and the older versions were *** imo. back in the day JL was a company much like kickker interested in putting up some numbers... but they proved themselves and no longer need to keep expensive sponsorships to sell stuff... ever seen 6 13W7's in a well built wall? rarely... why would you? that would be expensive as balls when you can probably win with less.
a W7 would rip off an L7's tinsels and beat it to death with them.

you were trying to compare the w3 to the L7........both in optimum enclosure and power the L7 will have a higher output.

your arguement that the w3 will perform as well as an L7 is what started you in this spiral.

It doesn't... but the fact that 5 old W3's with less power handling than the new ones put out 171.7dbs is not at all negligible.
