but you gotta port em! (and they don't lag that bad, the sq isn't as good fine but for the type of boomy bass i listen too its better suited)

if you want sq from an l5 you gotta know how to build a box and make sure it doesnt leak (around the driver) and make sure its a propper sized box for what you are doing. l5 can get real loud but i also know for a fact it can sound really good too. i put an l5 12 into a 2.75 cft box stuffed with 40 ounces of fiberfill and deadened the box with cascade. powered with a jbl 600.1 it sounded pretty **** smooth to me. it was still louder than it needed to be and it went deeep. if you didnt know what the sub was before hearing it i really DOUBT you would ever guess what it was.

^^ x2....a lotta my friends thought the L5's were meh sealed up (which is true). so i told them all i got a new system (some i told a couple twelves some i told a fifteen lol) and they'd all sit in the car and be impressed. then i show them the new box and they're like //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

then again audiolife you probably put one twelve into a big *** sealed box whereas my sealed box was pinnered (1 cuft per chamber for tens)

i dont care what kicker says their medium box should be the subs small box the large should be the medium and a tad bit bigger than large as the large box.
