Kttp445u issue

My setup is 4 Morel 69c, pioneer deh-4220bt, and kttp445u (I had the amp installed by a professional Alpine dealer). I've noticed something I NEED fixed. At a lower volume (15-20) the bass is very much present (It's set to be able to turn up to 42 without distortion/clipping). Once I turn it up to that, though, the bass hits really nice, but it only last for a minute or so. After that, the speakers sound quieter and the bass is there, just not as hard. What gives? Only thing I've noticed that, I'd imagine is an issue, (not saying this has anything to do with it) is that the ground from the amp is connected to the factory stereo ground. This amp requires 15+ fuse. My stereo is only 10. The amp doesn't appear extremely hot or anything (it's only ever warm). I ask on here as, with work, it'll be a bit before I can take it in again to have them check it out. They said on the phone it's something they'd have to look at. I'd appreciate any help! Thank you!

The amp grounding at the same place as the head unit is not an issue if the grounding point is clean and bare. This may be a function of some sort of loudness option on the HU though. As you turn it up, the loudness is reduced until it is no longer present. This prevents you from over playing the bass content when the volume is adequate to provide adequate bass on it's own.

Bass Management: The Pioneer receiver offers Bass Management through its D.Bass (Dynamic Bass) and Loudness feature. D.Bass boosts the bass level dynamically to offer an effect as if a subwoofer was added to the system. D.Bass can be set to High, Low, or Off. The Loudness function compensates for deficiencies in the low- and high-frequency ranges at low volume. You can set the Loudness to High, Mid, Low, or Off.
