Knukonceptz Karma SS speaker wire is the WORST. Don't use it.

The kompression fitting work well, but are just temperamental to how you set them up.

And actually, now that I think about it I don't like their kolossus 1/0 either... it's too big to fit into ANY standard opening... which is ghey.

The Karma RCAs are nice, Ive never had a problem with them. In fact whenever I do an install these are the RCAs I get. The Karma speaker wire is also nice...

BUT the Karma speaker wire is kind of annoying to work with since it is warped in that outer PVC jacket. The wire itself though is good quality.

Depending what kind of setup you have there is alot more wire stripping to be done... other than that tho great products

If your doing installs at a shop for a living I understand why this wire can be annoying. More time and easier for mistakes. I have the monster cable version and haven't had any problems. But I was installing it a personal application.

Wow this is extremely funny because I had just installed Knu's 4 Channel Rca's and chased a speaker cutting out issue for a few days only to find that his Rca end was a piece of Sh*t!!!!!!

I used Knu's Rca's like 3-4 years ago in my Camaro and they worked fine.

But this time around, i get nothing but cocky awnsers from Knu. I sent 4 dam emails to get a RMA on these Rca's and still have not heard nothing. He wouldnt even advance ship a new set so i can replace the damaged ones for a new set but he wants me to purchase them again then send the old ones back

THUMBS DOWN FOR KNUKONCEPTZ!!!!!!!!!!!1:emb:

NEVER, and I repeat NEVAR use this stuff. I've been installing for over a half dozen years, and never met any speaker wire that is more frustrating to work with.

All of knu's other products are stellar, but this twisted cable is just a PITA to work with. Trying to access each strand individually, quickly, is next to impossible. Using a pair of dikes or a razor blade and you can harm the individual casing on each strand... possibly leading to a short.

Just thought I'd share my experience with others, and save people the headache of using this stuff. If someone comes to me with this for an install, I won't use it.

kthnxbi.

i found it quite easy to use. Every speaker wire in my trcuk is karma SS

the outer layer is real soft. Cut around it with a razor (not all the way through), pull on it with a pair of pliers, and it will shear at the cut without damaging the jacket on the individual speaker wires.

interesting. I've spent over $2000 with knukonceptz over the last 3 years, havent had any issues yet. (other than damaging an RCA, but only because i pinched the shit out of it putting some seats back in)

What's so crappy about them then.
Read what you quoted. I said their build quality is shitty. The ends break easy, they use very high gauge wire, and the solder joints are absolutely pathetic (I had 2 individual strands soldered to the ground terminal... no wonder I had noise issues).

Just use normal wire and bind them together. -.-

Lot cheaper. I've got a big-*** roll (1000ft+) of 14 gauge, and another 200-300 ft of 12 gauge, that I use. Not nearly as clean, but then again, if you bind them together, it's still neat, and if you can see the wires, you've already got a problem for how clean it is.

I like the wire I have, easy to strip, scissors do it easily. Wire is fairly tough while still flexible and loose.

Yeah, that's worth my time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Or I could just use regular speaker wire... anykind... of my choosing... that's cheaper... and do it instantaneously... with a set of gate cutters (cutters/dikes)...

Yah...

Also, I don't need recommendations on what to do or use. I use what works well and quickly... and it certainly isn't Knukonceptz....

Also, their KLM 1/0 blows dick... stiffest worst shit evar.
