You said voltage in your recent post after googling. Give it up. You lose dude.ok so what is next?
( notice I said voltage not current //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif )

Because potential and voltage are the same thing. If you reference potential and someone thinks that means current they clearly have no idea what they are talking about. Your stubborn pride is making you out to look like quite the fool.i googled nothing my internet is running horribly slow atm... I am on 4g wireless //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif and we have a storm coming in...
and you said potential and referenced voltage not current so i made sure i put voltage as well I am not the stupid retard you seem to think I am dood...
how the hell do you know wtf I am doing... you don't !!You said voltage in your recent post after googling. Give it up. You lose dude.
What would you like to be proved wrong about? I already have as is clearly evident from this thread, but anything you choose make a clear statement that you believe and is in line with your previous comments in this thread, and I will go ahead and disprove them.i have conceded nothing ... I have proved nothing and neither have you apparently...
the argument went round and round with you just saying I am wrong...
I say I am wrong and to enlighten me... you still have not..
Not true. Alternators are the highest source of potential in the circuit. Therefore while an alternator remains the highest source of potential in the circuit all current is drawn from it. Dimming occurs when the voltage drops. If the alternator can supply enough current for the amplifier to draw, the voltage does not drop and you get no dimming. It's very simple. Your statement is silly.
a battery is the highest "potential" because it is renewable... it takes very little alterator current ( amps ) to charge and maintain an AGM battery which in turn releases very large amounts of current nearly instantly due to the nature of their low ESR design.... something even the biggest alternator will never be capable of..
if he has 131 amps of draw from the amplifier all the time he needs at least double that in reserve...
by your logic no one would ever need batts and they would not exist because there would be no market for them...the opposite is more true..
in his situation he needs more storage not more generation... he is generating plenty of power and current and has no way to store it for the transient peaks ...
No I said the highest source of potential is the alternator and THEREFORE all current is drawn from it instead of the battery. Your lack of understanding is on full display now. Thank you.ahh I found what you say I am wrong on
look at the bold... you yourself said the current was potential..instead of voltage...
I may have misworded my response but it is still correct.. he needs battery reserve not more voltage or current..
all current is not drawn from just the alternator... if you think that is true you need help...No I said the highest source of potential is the alternator and THEREFORE all current is drawn from it instead of the battery. Your lack of understanding is on full display now. Thank you.
the system takes power from the highest voltage source (alt) until the current demand is higher than it can supply, a draw is then placed on the reserves (batt) to supply the needed power to the loads.all current is not drawn from just the alternator... if you think that is true you need help...
I admitted where I was wrong, when I said potential I should have said it differently... ... so how hard would it have been to just say that ?
The statement I made is true. It is not open for debate. I didn't make the rule. It's part of electronics. When the alternator is the highest source of potential, all current is drawn from it. If it were any other way, how would the battery stay charged? Lol!all current is not drawn from just the alternator... if you think that is true you need help...
