Kinetik battery to big.. help

i just purchased a kinetik hc2400 and the battery is a little bit too big to go under the hood.

Would it be the same to put the battery in my trunk?

I have a regular walmart battery under my hood now.

Would it be the same if the big 3 was done on the stock walmart battery and i have my kinetik in the trunk?

Trunk would probably be abetter place for it since that's where your equipment is. Don't forget to fuse both batteries.
