Kickpanel build in a 93 explorer.

Alright guys don't hate on me to bad this is the first time i've cut out Mdf rings as well as making a set of kickpanels. So im still learning not with fiberglass but with making the rings/kickpanels themselves. here is what i've got done so far lmk what you guys think appericate it. I haven't started on passenger kickpanel yet im taking this build slow. plus weather here hasn't been best.

Rings cut out/primed.

First one painted.

Both rings cut out and speakers mounted in for a test fit.

Laying down some glass.

Mdf ring mounted/glued down to the mold.

More glass & its starting to take shape.

Just starting to do some sanding.

Test fit after some sanding still sitting to high.

Did some more sanding but still sitting up just a bit to high.

sanded her down some more and finally got it sitting flush.

Hey guy's sorry i haven't updated with pics in a while. But i finished the driver side kickpanel today. like i said before im taking my time with these kicks plus funds on material's make me also. but here is the driver side one i finished it//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. i don't think came out to bad for my first time though.

Put another layer of glass on , along with some nice bondo and did some sanding.

The Final product ( well for the driver side at least lol)

Here's also another update. The passenger side im in the middle of working on im laying the glass for the back piece which will be the backing to even start the mold i will have more pics to come. but im glad to at least have driver side done.
