I overpowered my CVR's by 300 watts stuck them in a 30hz ported box at the recommended 2.4 cubic ft per woofer, cut off the bass at 35hz (no peak), and enjoyed my +3db output. Stuck an epicenter on the bass preouts from my 880PRS, (no I don't crank the epicenter, I just let it sit and filter which it does nicely) then dynmatted everything I could, and the bass quality is actually very very nice, and far better than you would ever expect from a CVR. Maybe CVX's can do it too?very good.....naw not at all, its not terrible but nothing to brag about in no way
