Yea, I order two Infinity Kappa Perfect 12s (crutchfield had buy one get one free) and I can eithe cram two in my truck with around .8 cubic ft airspace a piece, or just use one with over 1cu ft of airspace. The spec sheet says to use 1 cu ft, so I was just wondering if I'd be better off having 2 12"s with less than adequate airspace or 1 12" that would have plenty? Also, giving it a little more than 1 cu ft (say 1.3?) would probably allow for a little deeper notes, right?
What would you guys do?
EDIT:
And this box will be custom built, so I can build it as I please, and all my calculations (double checked) are showing .85cu ft per sub. That's including taking off an inch and a half because of the 3/4" thick MDF on all sides, so it's pretty accurate I think. The actual dimensions I can work with is 19.5" tall x 31" long 5" depth at top and 9" depth at bottom.
