The 5 finger gene isn't a mutation.... it's just a recessive gene. People have always had the information in their DNA to have 5 fingers. You could say that the 5-finger gene was naturally selected, and the 6 finger gene has been weeded out for the most part.

This process is a very, very small part of evolution. I can't say whether or not we came evolved from primates. No one can. But to rule it out based on this "thing" called religion that humans have developed over the centuries to give their lives some sort of false meaning is being close minded.

And personally, I dont rule out creationism because I do believe in a higher power. I believe this based on the fact that I feel, think, have a soul, etc. Things that no matter how you piece it together using science, its still unexplainable.

I can understand banning if gambling was going on, and kids were playing during classes, but Jesus ****ing Christ, it goes against their precious religion? **** them. God isn't proven and neither is the theory of evolution. Let it ****ing go. Also, these monsters demonstrating such an evil idea...go inside of balls and shoot stuff at each other. Isn't the entire idea of fiction pretty evident?

As mentioned earlier, why aren't they focusing on teaching these kids? I read so many papers in school that resemble a sixth grader writing style. Kids don't know anything about history, culture, music. Nothing.

I think that that law is a waste of time. It's a friggin game. I remember when kids were stabbing each other over pokemon cards.... that alone was enough to ban them, though lol.

This argument is so retarded. People shit on the Theory of Evolution because it is not wholeheartedly proven. Thats garbage, it is because it goes against people's religion. Same thing that happened to Gallileo(sp?). Nobody complains about teaching the Theory of Relativity and sticking behind it even though it has not been proven. Evolution may not have been proven, but the method of studying it is a lot more deep rooted in science than Creationism.

But neither one can be proven or disproven entirely. So would it not be better just to teach both of them and let the kids decide for themselves instead of producing a bunch of babbling idiots who don't think for themselves?

Well that's a nice thought, but there is a 0% chance of creationism being tought equally alongside evolution thanks to the ACLU (American communist lawyer union) I just think they should take all the lies out of the textbooks, and go from there.
