To reposess or not to reposess?

A friend of mine is building a system slowly but surely... and so far he has a pair of memphis M-Class 1" aluminum dome tweeters, a small rockford fosgate 4 channel running to the tweeters and his Memphis 4x6 plate speakers... His 6x9s in the rear deck do a decent job with bass so far. Unfortunately for him, that is about to come to a screeching halt. See, I fronted him the plates, the amp, and the wiring kit over the course of about two weeks. He wrote me a postdated check for the plates for the day he got paid (two days later). Well, after overdraft fees he didnt have enough in there to cash the check. I told him if he doesnt reimburse me for the plates alone today (payday) that I would reposess the entire system, minus the HU... which is a PITA to get out.

Should I reposess his stuff if the money doesnt come in today? Hes pissing me off by being like an hour late to piuck me up for work lately, and today I had to get a ride from another friend because I cant even get ahold of him.

i have to agree with the public on this one. i mean if he was a close friend then i could see an extension. but if he's just some dude that ****ed up his finances and now still owes you, get ur shit back man. the mans squirtin out kids and probly doesnt have his shit together if he's owing you money for stereo shit....get that back tonight

Repo your stuff and try to smooth it over until your ride is ready them **** him.

He pays you some monnies.

Try a payment plan if he cannot come up with all the cash.
