have 99 chevy blazer. big3 done , 0/gauge wire to my disto block, xspower d3400 underhood and mechman 270a alt. right now im only running about 1500-1600rms. have no problem with lights blinking or amps shutting down, gauge in my dash always read around 13.9,unless its early morning then its about 15. when i checked my volt at the amps playing full tilt it showed about 14.6 on the handheld and still 13.9 in the dash .does the reading in the dash mean the truck is only getting that for the other stuff running of the fuse box or just a bad meter? dont know how to explain the big diff in readings. but i guess if amps are getting what they need it doesnt matter. would like to get some opinions or feedback, because im about to upgrade to an additinal d3100 and around 2800rms

guage reading on the dash wont be accurate as much as the DMM well be. So i would go with whatever the DMM is reading. I know my dash seems to be on point though as when its charging at 14 volts at the first battery I usually see 14 volts on the dash and around 13.5 volts at the amps....
