Did I screw up on this?

I have 2 HFi12D4 sub-woofers, which are 4 ohm DVC subs. I also have a Autotek AT-1200 amp 4-channel but I would bridge them as a 2channel with 600W max @4 ohms. Can the combination of these subs and amp work or did I totally screw up with buying that amp for these subs?

haha, well not what I had hoped to hear but what is the possibility of fire if i wire the voice coils in parallel and put each sub in a bridged channel (would be running it on 2 ohms instead of 4)

well, I read that running voice coils (to the same sub) off different channels would screw something up even if they had the same input. It didn't make sense to me but I figured better safe than sorry

the sub would be at 2 ohms but once you bridge the chan. it will see 1 ohm. id do one ch per coil like stated. just make sure you have the right polatiry when you hook it up.

you have 4 -4 ohm coils why would it screw things up to run a 4 ohm load on each channel?
four channel = two channels bridged = one sub on one bridged channel

D4 coil wired in parallel = 2 ohm

amp is only stable down to 4 ohm when bridged

without regards to the ohms it has enough wattage for the subs bridged so if i do run it at the unstable 2 ohms would it do damage to the subs? It sounds like I need a different amp anyway so might as well milk this amp for what its worth by pushing it

lol'd. You can't just disregard the "ohms" whenever you feel like it.

You could possibly damage the amp or subs. Or it could be fine.

well, I know I can't just disregard them it was just the idea of being ignorant and ignoring them because I'm a spoiled white boy and get what I want.

Basically what I wanted to know was it i did say screw it and wire 'em up is it or is it not more likely the amp will die rather than the subs

Yes, it was designed with the help of Steve at Amp Medics. They are great amps, I have many friends that run them.
