Just polished my car for the first time.

what do you drive??

i found my 07' CRV with low miles, and they drove to florida every winter.. Winters here in PA can take a toll. My car was lucky.

That said, after washing your car, use an air compressor to rid water from places like door seals. itll get the water outta the cracks and such before you clay.

keep in mind you will need a lubricant, i use meguirs "quick klean" or something like that. you must spray the surface first before claying.

then a dual action polisher, with medium grit head with polish,

then polishing pad with a good wax. good to go.

glad to see someone else cares about their ride other than just how it sounds!

local shops sell "Fluid Film" undercoating for roughly $50 a gal. local shops charge $110 for a small suv per coating.

Fluid film was designed by the navy to coat the ships back in the 60's. it was just recently released to the public(10 years ago?)

that said, its $50 a gallon, and the gun to spray it was $30. I coat 3 suvs with a gallon. stinks for a week, but its the best oil ive ever used.

tested it on the underside of mower housing. works like a champ!

edit: forgot to add i can cover 3 suvs from one gallon.. i say psh.. to the local shops lol
