I picked up this sweet tool box at a expo show in California. It caught my eye and just had to have one. I love it so far. It is built well and actually makes finding the tools I need easier and quicker. The guy at the booth was a great guy. Very genuine with an awesome product. 500 bucks seems awful high for that! Plus with the cart ~$700.

Must have been a **** good salesman...

Looks like something you could build easily with sheet metal and a welder and a little skill.

i could see $200 with the stand....but seems really pricey at about $700 with the stand...

I just bought a new rolling toolbox for $80 last night. That one does look pretty cool though

I know tools are expensive, my buddy does bodywork and his new toolbox was $13K. But he buys everything snapon just about.

to the guys who buy the 13k toolboxes ...i could see this being a bargain...but for $700 i can goto Lowes and get one with a Pioneer radio built in that holds a lot more tools

No doubt. I think it's a lot of money. But that cheap compared to how much in tools them guys own 25-30K easy I would say. He has this razor knife stick that worked out great for cutting dynamat lol.

I would have a tough time building it. By the time you got all your parts, (lazy Susan, drawer rollers, etc), weld it, powder coat it, and foam cut outs plus labor your in it for quite some time/money. It is made in the USA so I guess that justifies the high price a little. Maybe if he gets bigger he can do bigger production runs to lower the price, who knows.

I was speaking in general terms. But it just doesn't look like $700 there. Some funky shaped sheet metal with holes in it and a couple of drawers? Made in the USA is to get suckers to buy a $700 product that was made for 20 bucks. Lol
