just installed RF P312D4's... not working PLEASE HELP

My first recommendation is to yank all that 16 ga wire from the sub s, and the bass amp, and go to Walmart, and get some 12ga Speaker wire!! Its like prob $20 bucks!! Get that 16ga out of there!! Next you need to either wire for just one of your subs to run at 2ohms, or both at 4ohms,and check all those fuses on the amp also

Meh, size of the wire is not going to play any factor here. No matter what some claim, it simply won't.

As for how it is wired. I would pull the subs out and double check their wiring. Once that is right, recheck the wiring from the terminals to the amp. If everything seems fine, then unplug one wire from the second terminal and see how it does with just one sub. If it plays fine, then reverse the wiring on the second terminal and your done.

Crap dude.

Is that extension cord you've used for speaker wires? Not saying it won't work, but you also have the line out from the positive on the left terminal cup in the negative post on the right. I had to look close to see it (follow the line). If your going to use that wire, that's too bad because it could also lead to errors in the future. I suggest you get some color coded wire which differentiates one line from the other. For now keep the wiring with the side with the lettering positive and the side with no writing to negatives. The lines out towards the amp do not match the terminal cup. Just because the wire you used is all copper, doesn't mean you cannot get your signals crossed. Positives to +'s and -'s to Negatives, recheck all the wiring. Once your wiring on your subs is down your going to have to check your fuses on your amp. Fuses on your amp tend to blow if you've got your signals crossed.

Try this, It's what I use. KnuKonceptz Karma Twisted Pair 12 Gauge OFC Speaker Cable

Looks like Home Stereo Wiring from what I can tell..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/popcorn.gif.32dd9e22fd77e77bc3c907062768fcd2.gif

Amps that claim they can be wired down to 1 ohm have nothing to do with separation of channels, I am merely making the point that his amp is not 1 ohm stable. And thus not a true mono-block amp.
Your a moron that amp has a protection curcuit that wgen the impedance is below 1.5 ohm it woulnt play

No need for name calling. Is that what you want to be known for here at caraudio being deragatory? I wonder where you got that from.

Anyways, my point is be nice. If I made a mistake, point it out and that's it. What you para-quoted was not even a statement, it was a

response, a clip from a conversation I was having with someone else that ended before it even got cleared.

People have called out your mistakes this whole thread. Please just stop giving inputs. A mono block is any amp that has a single channel. Does not matter what load they are stable at.

I disagree whether it matters what ohm a true mono-block amp is stable at. You've taken what I've said out of context though.

It *was* a discussion about mainstream mono-block's that claim to have the ability to be wired to 1 ohm that are not 1 ohm stable

vs underground mono-blocks which are truly 1 ohm stable. Also aren't stating the obvious that mono-blocks have only one channel.

Your stating the obvious that mono-blocks have only one channel.
So a Kicker ZX, Orion HCCAS, and RF power amps, JL / amps are BS? Get out
