what do the multimeter leads measure just connecting them together?
also, the resistance should change if you push on the cone...

I already posted that they measure 0.1 when I touch them together... and I noticed that it does change when I pushed on the cone.

if the leads measure 0.1ohms... and when measuring the coil, you get 0.2 ohms, that would mean the coil measures 0.1 ohms...

rather low if you ask me...

but, if it changes when you push on the cone, and they both measure the same, then it may be alright, but I'd never even consider wiring them in parallel...

free-air'd it, wired it in series, turned it up slowly.. no mechanical sounds or anything.. sounded good.. amp got as hot as usual.. but its a hifonics who knows lol.. i need to try it on another DMM tho because this is gonna be a daily beater

leave it on 200, then touch the pointers of the DMM together and see what it reads

have you changed the batteries yet?

the amp might be getting hot because you could be running it @ .2 ohms.......which would either trip the protect circuit, or cause a fire.

no i havent changed the batteries yet, but whos ever heard of a 0.1ohm sub... I suppose I need to change the battery and not be stubborn and burn my amp up...

just came up with the idea to go check out some home stereo speakers with my DMM just tested a 6ohm speaker... on the 200 on my DMM it reads at 1.0... on 2000 on my DMM it reads 4 peaking 5.

????
