Just getting back into car audio

@princ3cmo-it was just a suggestion i think morels would sound good with the above mentioned amp idk about the boston acoustics though im not too familiar with them
Ive hheard great reviews about the motels just that tthey need alot of power to shine. There's been a lot.of hype around the lower motels lately, yet i simply dont see an entry level Morel competing with higher Boston acoustics or anything along those lines. To each his own though

Yeah, It really depends on what you are looking for in component speakers. My two favorites have been the Pioneers listed above, they have a brighter, more in your face kind of sound. Are easy to get loud, but barley any midbass in my install...

The Morel Maximo's listed above I absolutely love, just because the very warm smooth sound, and great midbass. But as stated before they don't get loud without a lot of power, the 90w should do it, but it really depends on what you like.

BA's are very nice, but as said before not for midbass. Not big on them personally, but other people seem to be nuts over them.

Boston's are very install picky tho. if u dont plan on sealing and deadening your doors, dont expect much midbass. Mids and highs will still be good though.
Same is true of the Morel Maximo's. My install is less than perfect and they sound terrible. Overly bright and lousy midbass. I need to play with tweeter positioning and really seal the doors though before I blame the speakers.
