Do you think a 260 amp alternator and big3 is enough to support an audioque 2200d? Heres what I want to do if anyone cares

2 15" DC Level 4 XL's

1 AQ 2200d add a second one when I get the money

1 260 amp alternator

Then add batteries when I get the second amp

what company is making this alternator? and you are definatly gonna need a battery other than the stock one.

Yes that alternator is big enough but you'll still want to improve your battery bank. Upgrade the stock batt and throw one in the trunk.

Yeah in a perfect world that would be nice but in the real world only upgrading part of your electrical and still running your system at full tilt can cause serious damage...

As far as what batt to buy, it would pretty much depend on what you can get the best deal on...Optima's are good, C&D, Kinteik, Batcap, etc. all good. Check the classifieds, I snagged one of Basscourt's big *** Sprinter batt's, and I've also got a yellowtop under the hood. That handles my 3kw pretty nicely.
