a donk is not always a 70's impala... when the word donk was first being used, it was a style of car... now it gets associated with the impala

I think its the opposite. I used to hang out on the ECR forums a few years back.

no bro, i'm telling you... when donks first became "main stream" back around 2003-2004, a donk was considered to be a style of car... it wasnt until after they got their "mainstream" press that it became associated with a certain make of car. but that can be argued all day long, as slang for a style of car can be completely different depending on where you live, u kno

I like the rims, and I like the car. Not a fan of the lifted look. I would go a lil smaller on the rims so it don't have to sit so high.

a donk is usually an old school car with a lift kit and obnoxiously large rims. Also a very good qualifier for a donk is when they have vinyl graphics over the bright candy paint (theme cars)
