• I tend to listen to Hip-Hop often.
  
• I am a borderline audiophile.
  
• I do have a budget but I have faith in my deal finding abilities so do not make this a major factor
  
• I like to keep things simple.
  
• I plan to adapt my HU for iPod usage

* I wouldn't mind having a SUB to fill the sound spectrum but 1) I don't want people two blocks over knowing that I'm coming 2) I don't want to be left wishing I had more power 3) I don't want to occupy my entire trunk. 4) I'm not to thrilled with the idea of buying a separate mono amp to power it. If anything I'd grab a good 8 inch but I'm not sure what to aim for.

 

 

I've been putting this audio formula together for months starting from knowing nothing with no cash to the point I am now and I'm pretty close to satisfied with what I've put together here. I've still have got more research to do before I make my major investment but I'd thought it would be good to get my Blueprints checked out here before anything. I need advise more then ever. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

You'll want to add a sub, man.

Being that you like Boston Acoustics, the 10" G5 would'nt be a bad choice. It thrives in pretty small enclosures, and you could even purchase the BA prefab that includes a passive radiator. The Alpine MRP-M500 would power the sub pretty well and keep with the overall "theme" of your equipment.

You could do a lot worse...

EDIT: You could drop the rear speakers completely and buy a nice set of components for your front stage.
