ok, acura tls 2002. 2 tens ported.

which way should i do it?

sub back port back

both facing forward (seats dont fold down so this would be a ***** to do but possible if i figured how to make them fold ie fabricate)

sub? port through rear deck using aeros

also, explain why if you can

I have a 97 Lumina and I gained a db or more when I did port and sub back. But all depends on the car for sure. I think I may turn mine back around and try to seal it up from the trunk to have it fire in the cabin. Havent tried that

I cant' believe how many people are recommending you port into the car.

It's so car dependent, and you could end up losing spl due to cancellation.

How many of you that recommended porting into the car with the sub up/back (ie, not sealed into the car) have actually tried this, let alone with a 2002 TL as the OP has?

The only way you can really guarantee a gain by porting into the car is if you do a bandpass box, which would actually be a great setup if youre running two 10's. Look at shiznilti's setup on here, it's very impressive.
