Got mine today. It won't be installed until next week though.

It does 175 at idle and 275 at 1200 rpms. It's doing great on 2.5k. Starting at 14.2 dropping to 14.1 hot at idle at the up front battery, but 13.7 at the amp. Think I have a grounding issue in the back. Can't get the alt to drop more than a tenth. The real test is coming later this week when u run my 5k amp.

Havent put the 5k to it yet it was damaged in shipping and fried. Should have it back next week. I will update this thread when I get my amp back.

Alts are legit. Ct 4000.1 at .5 ohm 2 g31's in the back and one up front holds 13v with heat and lights on full tilt while driving. Also have a 400 watt mid and high amp. Good alts don't be afraid to buy.

Might have to see what he has for my car.

Low price concerns me though.

Plus the stock alt casings..

I think 270 amps would be hard to do with the small stock case my alt has.

How is your js alternator still holding up ?

My bad haven't been on in a while. It's doing well. Ended up needing one more g31 in the rear to hold 13+ consistently. Clamp test coming soon.

My mechman alt had a stock casing at least it looked exactly the same as this casing.
