JL XR's vs Alpine Type X comps

i had a set of jl xr's off of a jl 300/s sounded good but switched to some diamond comps and they sounded way better to me, that get very loud but stay crystal clear. they even look alot beefier than the jl's.

I know there's better out there, but I'm just so stuck on going with something I'm accustomed to or that I know alot about. I know Alpine and JL, and I like both - If the alpine Type X's sound good I'll get them.

As of now, it's just XR's or type X's
