Jl XR653 need how much power?

my installer says these JL audio XR653 3-ways wont sound good on the 300/4 amp i have and they need more power

question: will my 300/4 bridged at 150W to each side be enough? do i need to power the mid/highs and woofer seperatly? he says a 450/4 will be alot better putting 150W on the mids and highs and 75W on the woofers.... any opinions?

300/4 will be plenty enough on those bridged, More then likely hes just tryin to make a lil extra money but id stick with the 300/4.

Slash series amps are expensive enough to begin with. If you already got the 300/4 stick to it. If you gotta chose between the 2... well... if you don't wanna spend the extra, then still stick to the 300/4 it will give them plenty of power. headroom is always nice but 150rms per side is going to let those things shine just fine.
