Hi,
I purchased a 12" W7 with a JL 1000x1 Amp.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/happydance.gif.a963168fea27d8453c3ec467ddcf9e1c.gif
The salesman did not tell me about the "burn time" or something that you have to basically gradually let your sub "loosen up" before you play it any louder than say, 10 on the volume. It ended up locking up and they did replace it. But, I was wondering what is the "burn time" they are talking about and if there is any information that I need to know so this does not happen again. Like, exactly how long should I wait before I just blast music and not worry about locking it up again.
Any information will be appriciated as I am pretty much a newbie.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif
If there is already a post about this, sorry! I could not find one.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nerd.gif.c6fa51ddf7ff75f1c0371fbc648f70ae.gif
Thanks in Advance,
