soo i want a crapton of SPL

i have a kicker L7 on a 1000.1 that does about 1100 watts. the L7 is a 12 wired to 2 ohms and it hits pretty dang hard as is. its in the stocker box ported and all and sounds good but i hear that they are tuned high so i was thinkin about maybe getting a good box built.

if i was to later on go with a diff sub but keep my 1000.1, what should i get that will just strait up give me a crap-ton of pressure and bass. like.. move crap around and bow the roof out and stuff. i think itd be cool. i know RE and FI are good for it but which sub on that many watts? maybe 2?

You could try getting a bigger woofer. As to move more air. Maybe if you have the room an 18

eff the pups lol. i have room for an 18 but what 18? L7s only come in 15, 12, 10, and 8. i want strait up hard hitting, heart vibrating bass. my L7 does a pretty dang good job already. maybe just need a new box.

Could also look into DD 3518e's

or Audio Que HD3 18's or HDC3(think thats the model lol) 18's

I was able to see the windshield pushing out on about 800-1000 watts and 1 15. But I think that also has alot to do with box tuning and such. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

some vehicles flex more than others, mine windows dont flex that much

for example, ive seen a little RSX front window have some major flex with 1 MT 18

soo yeah.. i have 1100 watts to play with and i want that to be over RMS of the sub that ill get. ill be able to get a tuned box built too. ive seen kicker L7s move the crap out of car windows and stuff too but they had good tunes boxes. mine is the kicker ported box and i hear that they are tuned high.

sometimes higher tuning equals more Deebeez.

just get another L7 and a bigger amp in a nice designed box.

Okay you keep repeating yourself. Yes the L7 is a solid sub, we didn't need you to tell us that. Prefab boxes are not known for their excellence, you would be much better off getting a box built.

If you want us to answer your questions you need to provide us with details about your vehicle and such. There are many, many ways to get loud in all types of cars...
