JL audio vs soundqubed

I think that the four tens should out perform the single 15,depending on the power as stated, and the type of vehicle, and location of the subs.Four low powered tens of 250 rms-300 rms can get down pretty nasty

From my experience, my aq 10 was at least 10 dbs louder than my friends jl w0 10. Plus, he blew his sub every few weeks.and it ,the jl sounded horrid. Just my 2 cents, but I would put 1 hdc 10 against 4 of those jl zeros and probably win in all categories. My aq 15 was insane as well. Hope this helps with your decision. Gotta love the soundqubes.

W0 is a very entry level sub. I haven't used them in ages, but that's always been their entry level. Personally I'd take one big boy sub over 4 cheap woofers using a motor the size of a can of dip.

And why on earth would you tune a 4th order to 34hz? Seriously, forget about 4th order entirely. If you don't really know what you're doing and have a very good reason to use that alignment you should stick to sealed or ported.

The JL's have 2x the cone area almost, but half the useable excursion and powerhandling even with 4 of them is going to be lower.... For a burp situation I'd put my money on the SQ woofer every time.. For a daily situation, shoot, 8/10 times I'd still pick the SQ. Step up to w3's and up and the situation might change, but w0 are just too low end.
