hey im currently building my new system, i am using a new kenwood exelon deck, upgraded the elecrical system, and bought a jl 1000/1 , i have small 1999 hoda civic hathc back, i have decided on the jl audio w7 subwoofer, i hgave always been a fan, i am wondering what you think would be a louder and clearer system on my 1000/1 either 2 10w7's ported to jl's specs firing at the deck, or 1 13w7 proted to jl specs firing at the same spot, thanks

id go for the 10s more area..... but flat out you could but just about anything in a hatch back and it slams

The two 10's have 11% more cone area but the 13w7 has 29% more Xmax. The 13w7 will should be louder and move more air.

that 13 is way louder than the 12's, I've heard all the w7's in the same truck, with the same 500/1 amp, and the 13 he upgraded to a 1000/1 after a couple weeks. **** rich *****.... he bought an 8 lookin for some thump, then a 10 lookin for more thump, but cheap, and then the 12... and finally a 13. He sold all of them eventually and is now deaf as hell.
