I'm looking for a good subwoofer, that I don't have to pay a arm and a leg for that wil get the job done?? Any suggestions on a good name brand to look for??

x2 on the W6v2, it will surprise you with its output. I have mine running off a 500/1 and its louder than i could ever want, plus i have it in a crap box thats too small and leaks(custom box in progress to fix that). I can't wait to hear it in its ideal enclosure. Not to mention it sounds great in small sealed boxes, so if you are worried about space, look into it or the IDQ's from image dynamics.

with 4-500 to spend on a sub, there are a lot of options... i am partial to JL, but Sound Splinter's RL-p's are nice.
