they are not over priced. and i dont think there is a better choice for that "kinda" money.

very high quality amps I have had my 350/1 for over 2 years and It still puts and great clean power and never even gets warm to the touch

again imo i think they are... you can get a ton of amps for the 1100 retail or whatever it is that do a real rms and clean 1000watts...and i didnt in any way say they were bad amps.. they are good amps. i do not feel they are in the top lines out there for those kind of prices.. id take a audison vrx first for that kind of money

I was looking at the 1000/1 but picked up a VRx 1.500 instead. I can't wait to get everything up and running. Audison = Italian sexiness.

I am talking to a guy about getting the fans as we speak, but I think I am gong to run it at 2. 1K+ @ 12.8V is more than enough for my SQ set up.

JL amps are great. I have had two of them. I had a e1200 200rmsamp first. Then I traded it in and paid a lil more to get a e4300 4 channel amp.

So now I'm wondering I am in process of planning out upgrading my factory stereo, I currently have a JL 500/1 that is going to be powering a JL Stealth Box 10W3v2 and have a set of Rainbow 6.5" Germaniums and am looking for an amp to power them and have been debating between an Arc Audio, Audison, but if I get by with a JL 300/2 and save money or any other amp like a RF or Kicker, Memphis. I mean if I can save money and not know or hear a sound difference than why wouldn't you?

I know this is an old post.

Man buy whatever product you want and like. Dont allow anyone to persuade you to buy something that you dont want.

We all have our own opinions on whats good, but they are just opinions.

In fact here, more often than not you will find that JL is not high on others list.

Mainly because of the price. Price alone should not always be the determining factor.

Just because others think they are overpriced, does not mean that you should be swayed by their opinions.

In fact I might start a thread on this.

experienced w/ jl1000.1, 500.1, 300.4 all are great.

out of 3 jl 500.1's 2 had problems w/power supply or something

had a 1000.1 fry on me too back in the day when I had wiring issues (if u want something done, do it yourself - hint)

JL is solid but far far from th best.......

They are however priced like they are the best,marketed like they are the

best
