Cause everyone loves paying 700 dollers for a 1000 watt amp when they can get a orion 2500D, a Hifonics XX-Collossus 3500 watt rms amp, or any other thing out there

The JL / amps are great, a little pricey, but good none the less. x2 on the search, and you will find quite a few people that have experience with them.

But, yes, you can find similar quality for less $$$.

No - not really. But if ssj2xxgotenxx is gonna get one someone's case because of a grammatical error he should at least be correct when he does so IMO.

So this isn't a useless or an unrelated post, such as my previous one, to answer the OP's question JL's Slash-series amps are outstanding amps. However, they are generally considered exceedingly pricey when the fact that similar or better performance can be had at lower pricepoints is tossed into the decision-making process.

Yeah, it is never good to correct someone with the wrong information.

Power is not the only important factor in an amp.

MUCH more goes into it than simply "how much power does it put out".

yes i love mine, they have the power i want. the cleaness i want. the black look i want. all the adjustments i want . they are american made. and the best in my eyes.

i love my 500/1, its plenty powerfull. and the SQ is outstanding.

they are good amps. i personally think overpriced... they give you good clean solid power but imo there are better choices for that kind of money
