I hope this is in the right spot.

I am getting 2 12TW3 subs to run off my audison av5.1k amp. I am in the process of designing my box right now.

Now the specs call for .8 and the sub displaces .029 making the gross volume needed .829. I was told by a JL rep to make it a little bigger, .875 gross volume. This makes it .046 larger.

Does that little amount really make a difference?

That little amount wont matter. I would go 1.25 cube per after displacement

JL list specs that save as much space as possible. That's fairly well know.

My 10w6v3 calls for .75 ported. I went from a prefab .75 ported to a custom that ended up about 1.35 ported and the sound difference is astounding.
