Well some of u might now about 2yrs ago my setup was stolen

2 XXX 12's and VFL400.1 with some other stuff

well today my buddy that owns a stereo shop called and said there was a guy up there with that same stuff ... so i ran up there asked the dude were he got it and he said some dude for 200 bucks... so i described some details about the amp before he showed it to me so he knew it was mine i gave him 200 bucks and he gave it all back to me still in the condition it was in when i had them... he wouldnt tell me who he got it from ... he said he got it from a friend of a friend... but anyway score for me .... so now my delima

i have some JL W7 12's commin so should i use those or the XXX's VFL is prolly getting sold since i no longer have the electrical to power that beast

they guy that i gave the 200 bucks from bought it from some guy that bought it from another guy.... so the guy that i gave 200 could have easily told me to go jump but he was cool about it ... so used values are 550-600 for the VFL and say 300 each on the XXX so 1200 bucks worth of stuff i can easily sell for 200 bucks its a no brainer... its been 2yrs i thought i would never see that stuff again

he could have sold it to anyone for 200, but atleast the original owner got it back on the cheap

anyways..op...did you get any fingerprints from when it originally got stolen? i bet everyones got their prints all over that stuff no matter how many friends hands it passed through

i found my impact gun and wrenches at the flea market once. I had the serial number of that and a few items. I called the cops met a detective them proceeded back to the market. I had tole the operator of the booth the item where mine and give them to me then no cops but he declined. They tracked the sale to a pawn shop that collected id of the person, the person i knew stole it and before i told him to pay me or bring the shit back and he declined. Well the detective got the case together put out a warrant 8 months later he was arrested for traffic in WI then sent here and busted. I would rather have not gotten the cops involved i hate them too but I am not paying to get my property back.
