mecp certified

I have a few questions about getting your mecp certificate.Just wanted to know how many people here are mecp certfied,and what level are you guys? Im thinking of taking the test,but I dont plan to work for a shop...id just like to do car audio on the side....is it worth it for me to get certified?

If you're looking to do it on the side, I'd say don't bother. The 2 reasons to really get it that I see are to either put it on a resume to help land a job or get a pay increase.
