is this going to hit hard?

To the OP(Original Poster, you n00b)

Please excuse some of the jackasses on here, they're for the most part just flamers and don't like to help. If you have questions, you're welcome to send me a personal message and I'll help as much as I can. I will not help in this thread as it's already ruined.

Darkhunter would probably be glad to help too, from what I can tell.

It's not okay to turn the gain up all the way - and who actually wired the system - I would assume you did? Where did ground your amplifiers? Are your power wires fused at all? Are the amps?

Are the amps the same power? The woofers are Dual 4ohm subs, best I can figure - are the amps stable at 2ohms bridged?

Thers a reason you keep blowing the subs, it's your shitty amps at full gain. You really should upgrade to a better amp.

you seem to not have learned much in 10yrs. If you keep blowing them, then perhaps you're doing something wrong, like turning the gain all the way up. A higher power sub may work if the amp won't put more power out at distortion than what the sub is rated at.

I agree he should upgrade amps, and I do not think he's been doing audio for ten years - at least not paying attention.

And 97GP - he asked about his gains, his wires, and the amps. So you STFU and GTFO, if you want to flame or be a post *****, do it in the lounge - not on this mans thread. Thank you, have a good day. Dipshit

yes i wired it and i have 1 capacitor but i will get another soon and its all fused 100 amp on the power and 2 30 amp fuses on the amps

well i was running like 325 watts rms into a 200 watt rms sub so its my fault gain was not all the way up i had the gain all the way up running the 1000 watt sony and the 2 punch 15s and it was great but i want more powerful bass so

Why don't you browse the forum a bit? Read up a little.

And don't buy anything in the meantime unless it's approved here //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif (j/k... kinda)

hmm im 26 and iv had 7 systems with low end rockford fosgate 15s and i started at 14 so wait thats 12 yrs and the problem was my amps were too big for the weak *** subs!

No, it will not hit hard. Not only that, it will sound like a couple of midgets are beating on trash can lids while taking a shit-piss in your trunk. You dont seem to know what the hell you are talking about, how have you been doing this for 10 years? I suggest you do some research around the net and dont waste your time and money on crap equipment.
