I passed on the car (sadly, want somethign better) BUT the price turned out fair. car was very decent. needed paint, but it was straight..

If it's in as good shape as it appears to be I'd buy it.
ya:( i wanted it, BUT out of room in the garage, and im kinda looking for a convertable:( anyone in the oklahoma area.. i think this would be a nice car for your stereo needs!

1/8 mile. *yawn*
He didn't even 'spank all' that night. He clearly lost the third race (to the unknown red car) as shown by the times. The 4th race he beat a Ford F150 4x4 (really impressive), and the fifth race was hard to tell but appears he may have lost as well.

In any event, sure that's an impressively fast vehicle, especially considering the car he started with. But if you think that kind of speed rules all, you haven't sat in a really fast car yet. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

A Civic? No offense, but your HS didn't have any fast cars then.
Yes that's a fair price for that car. I just paid $1500 for a 91 that's not in quite as good of shape as that one (judging by the pics).
A Civic is already light as hell.....with weight reduction, engine swap, racing clutch, turbo, and a Nos tank.....hell yes a Civic is fast.

Not that I like them but I saw it with my own eyes.

BTW, I'd like to have a 68 Camaro.

You mean a Civic only needs a new engine, new clutch, a turbo added, nitrous oxide, and weight reduction before its fast? Well, I guess I stand corrected then. lawl //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

That's my favorite response from import fans... "Its fast, all you need to do is upgrade everything. And add nitrous."

i bought my 94 accord with jdm goodies already in it and a jdm h22a swap and jdm buddy club wheels for 2k even

then i blew the motor //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I never said I was a import fan.

On the flip side lets see how long a properly maintained Japanese car last versus a properly maintained American car......no contest.

Quality control with Japanese cars are way above American standards.

The 350 Chevy engine is a tank though and can take a beating.

not really way above. sorry. owned both, just not true. and the chevy 350 sure. what about the lincoln town cars? or the cadillacs?

They, Japenese cars, don't last long once you start adding turbos to them and abusing that power. Granted, there are some exceptions, but many of those 4 bangers don't hold together well unless you do the supporting modifications which adds more $$ to make them faster and reliable!

Now stock for stock, that is a totally different story. A friend of mine wanted to bet me $100 that the 1997 Civic I have will outlast the 2006 Mustang GT that I purchased used last year. I didn't want to take the bet because I believe he is correct!
