looking back at it im not rly a fan of that amp ethr...

TCAB makes good boxes so says the 150dB people seem to be getting out of type R subs... dont know if this is suitable for you though .... kinda would put you over budget unless you can build one yourself and theyd let ya have the plans... who knows...

Fairly large box.

As for the amp...

no offense but that isnt a"system" it is a deck and a sub. If these guys made suggesitons earlier then you can rpetty much go by them. they read enough and act liek they know everything.. jk jk

Ill just post my advice in this post.. If you want a decently good system that hoenstly doesn't osund mostly like poop and you will be VERy happy with in the end do this

take $600 - buya GOOD deck (eclipse or such) and a decently good set of front components. Buy these used if yo can since you will get exceptional quaslity gear for a decent amount of money.most of the stuff used on here is only used a short time since like me most others get sick of the stuff EVERn thoguh it sounds perfect and convince ourselves we need better.

run comps off deck power FOR NOW, invest ina good 2 channel amp and then amp the comps. Then in time save up another $600 and buya decent amp/sub.

You were doing fine till you hit that amp. You need a better one. I'd also recommend a lower-model head unit and spending more money on a bette ramp. No 79 dollar amp will push 1000 watts. For what it sounds like you want to do, you don't need a deck as expensive as a 9853.

whats wrong with the sub? for $120 I admit they're pretty tough to beat. I'd worry more about the box than the sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif. I'd also take a used 9833 or something over an unauthorized 9853, but whatever.
