Is this a good amp for this sub?

I’m looking to buy a 15” dvc 4 ohm sub and a suitable amp.

Would this be a good combo? If not suggest a better amp/sub.

The sub would be wired at 2 ohms right?

Get the dvc2 version and wire to 1 ohm. Now for the box, what kind of music do you listen to? Are you trying to knock pictures off the wall or Just some extra thump?

For about 300 bucks, that's a good start for an amp....and well below your budget. Plenty of power on tap, but keep an eye on bottoming out and mechanical limits of sub as the amp can do 2k+.
