Is there anything i should look out for?

This is all for $300, two 15' in kicker comp vr(with the box), and all he said about the amp is that it is a directed amp (1100 watts), and an alpine cd player. plus installation.

Now i want a mp3 input, and the cd player doesn't have one, he said he has an "in-dash" so i think i'm going to get that instead, if that doesn't have a mp3 input, how much should i offer for just the subs and the amp?

Also, should i look out for anything? (sounds, any damaged parts) that would tell me these are not good to buy.

do you own a dmm?? i would check to see if there is any physical damage to the subs as well, and does he guarantee this to be 100% working??

I bought a Directed 1100D on eBay for $100 shipped, A single Kicker CVR 15" will run around $100 new, and then you add the price of a head unit. I think you're getting an, 'OK' deal.
