Which is more efficient

I keep getting mixed answers to this question. Any insight?

A

B

Or another way of doing this?

Which ever uses the least amount of power and ground cable. That's the only place you will really see losses. The only resistance you have is in the internals of the amp and each batteries' internal resistance and none of those are changing. The only thing that appears to be changing is the length of wire used.

As long as the cables stay the same length from A to B then either one will be fine. Since all connections are made on the same terminals there is no change. I don't really know what you are hooking up though, caps?

Use the shortest connection to the caps then connect each one as close as possible and then run a power wire to your battery, ground as close to the caps as possible, do not run to the battery, unless you are using a separate battery.
