Is TC Sounds Inc. done forever?

you can get coils and parts for anything //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif Just takes some percervierence. Most of their higher end sub coils came from ecnowind in florida.

Yea, I know one can find others to recone, I just got a set of TC motors I had planned on reconing with non TC parts.

Thanks for posting the PE info, I am unfamiliar with them, do they sell complete recone's or just seperate parts?

That boat left a long time ago. Its also no secret that TC has been building subs for over a year now with whatever they had left on their shelves. After that sale a few months ago, I doubt there is much on the shelves anymore.
i believe they sold ALMOST all there spair parts to that retard robot underground. all i can say is.. you guys jump to conclusions WAYYYY to quickly:) 10k is NOT alot in the business world. as im sure...some of you know. as to the other debts.. well, i cant comment, as i dont know, i would wait right now before saying..

Why would you want to buy a brand name that is black listed?...baaaaaaad move man
Kinda like going to a KKK rally dressed as Dr. King...would be a horrible career decision //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I doubt I'd make a single speaker....I wish I knew more about what they actually own/possess.

It's not him...
I don't think you understand. Say i came out with company Mo Big Moofas...they have a 75% failure rate on the first production run, they are forever known as being a turd.

Regardless if the next season i stepped up my QC and had a .5% failure rate on the new drivers, the brand name, and association of the brand name will forever be known as 'junk'.

The association with that name brand in china and the suppliers is that they do not pay their bills, don't do business with them. Regardless of who is owning and operating it...
It depends. Think about "New Coke"....a horrible idea that nearly destroyed the company. They are doing okay. I can list several examples where *new management* turned a company around. But I am not into the speaker business. I am thinking it would be a nice conduit as it has hard assets.

The company 'TC Sounds' may be disappearing, but make no mistake, the products will continue to be made and TC Sounds technology as you know it will still be around.

I think the BIG question here is, not that if TC sounds will still be around or not.....or if their technology will be still incoporated into new applications. But weather Thilo will still pursue his surfing hobby. We need to examine the HARD truth here people.

i think it be hilarious if there 4hp motors get to the point where all there good for is being a door stop.
the 4hp motors made great animal tie downs. I used one for my dog for about 5 months //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

i have no idea, but just from the name, i would assume they cater to the audiophiles who dont care how much a speaker costs, much like ferarri caters to the big dogs for sports cars. i would assume these companies fit a niche and thats how they stay alive.
i simply figured, if TC jumped prices 100% (which IIRC they did or something close to that) they're bound to loose the retail customer base, that i thought they were based off of. i didnt see them filling a niche but rather just supplying regular products.
I guess you weren't too familiar with SVS's product line when they were getting it from TC, then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Goes back to what was implied before...when you have an OEM that goes from being fiercely anti-direct sales to one that sends its minions out on forums looking for suckers to buy products, something's up there...

lmao, so ummm a few months back when they had their amssive garage sale i figured there was something up.... looks like the got all their old stock out knowing that this could happen soon and made it easy for them to hide the money from the sales of used items... Sucks for anyone who only got parts that they wont be able to use...
They didn't get rid of all their old stock a few months ago. I was there a week ago and they still had several drivers.
