would you guys accept this for $130?

k so i had a local guy make me this box.he seemed pretty legit and he knew what he was doing.i told him its going in a 4runner with a 18'' bl

so i go over there and he gets some measurements and says it will be done by the same day so he emails me and says how many cubes it will be and all that shiz.

then he says "but there is a problem,the top needs another sheet of mdf on top becasue it will flex because of it being an 18".so i said ya that kinda makes sence so go ahead and do it.(extra 34 bucks or so)

so when i get there to pick it up,it looked pretty nice. then i look inside and it was clear that he made the cutout for the sub to close so he had to redo it with the other sheet of mdf.and he said he had to cut the bottom piece for it to "clear" a part of the inside..and made a filler of mdf to stick in there..

now am i just trippin,or am i just the 1/50th guy thats gets unlucky and gets a rushed boxed

stapled together casue it looked liek it was coming apart.little bit of a rise on it.

looks like it was a box for 2 15"s or 4 12s that he just ripped the top baffle off and switched out.

OOh man... The outside looks good but that crack in the last pic dont look to good

If it was me I would go get some 3/8in all thread and brace the crap out of it

why? because you cant build a box in a day? as a former installer it was not uncommon to build 5-6 enclosures a day as long as we had all materials in stock.

I wouldn't be expecting a whole lot for $130 and same day.
