Is SI MAG Really The BEST SQL SUB? Does it get LOUD!!??!!

Is the SI Mag really the best SQL sub for the price? The only reason I have not bought 2 15's yet is because I don't think they will get loud enough... Am I wrong?

X2. If you want to hear your frontsatge 1 will be plenty.

If you just want to get loud, you can get louder for cheaper than a mag.

That depends on the frontstage. Mags... simply put... are ****ing awesome! And yes.... they'll get loud.

I want it to be as loud as possible while still retaining good SQ, so it seems that the Mag is my best choice, or am I missing another sub???

Mags would be your best choice if you have the cash. 2 15's could put you deep into the 150's if you know what you are doing. Loyd L is doing low 150's with a stock electical system and low tuning...but then agian he has been geting loud since about the time i was born //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Wow, 150's, thats amazing for a sub that supposedly sounds really good. This will be my choice then. What do you guys suggest I should feed them in terms of watts? I would like to get the full potential without compromising reliability..

What is more amazing is its 2 12's and only a single 20.1 at .5 ohm which cant be doing more than 2500-3000w i would think on such low voltage drops (into the 11's he said)

True, but how many people do you know that can drown out 150db's of bass with their frontstage. I'm still trying lol.

20.1 @ 35hz (1.8 ohm reactive load) 11.1 volts into the amp

around 2400 watts..

personally, I'd consider the SI mags one of the best output & good sounding woofers out today..
