Whats the ohm's on these subwoofers?

Hey everyone i was just wondering if someone could tell me what ohms my subs are they are digital audio DABP103. I have a pic of them on my avatar. If someone could tell me what ohms they are i'd surely appreciate it, and if so would anyone have a diagram of how to hook the subs together. I took them out and put in truck boxes so now im putting them back in the original box and i have no clue how they get hooked up again.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif And one more question are they dual voice coils? Ive read that they are only single but on the subs they have a terminal on each side of it.

I tried to search for them and some website says 4ohm mono, so my guess is 4ohms but you can verify that if you have a DMM. Your best bet is to wire them in parallel (connect all the +'s together and connect all the -'s together) for a final load of 1.33ohms, assuming your amp can run at that low of an impedance.

My amp is a Pioneer GM-5100T the specs are 125 Watts x 2, at 4 ohms

• 380 Watts x 1, at 4 ohms BRIDGE

• 75 dBA Signal-to-Noise Ratio (Reference: 1 Watt Output) Its not a very powerful amp but before i tore it all apart it sounded really good. Im assuming my amp cant go down to a 1.33 ohm. what would happen if i hook them up this way View attachment 5346)

You can't hook up your subs that way.

That diagram is for a trio of Dual Voice Coil drivers and according to the very limited info I could find on the subs you have they are Single Voice Coil subwoofers.

its not ohms its impedance...

thats the biggest irk ihave... i got some 2 ohms subs so im louder than 4 ohm subs.. no

What impedence are these subs ? would be the correct thing.

He's trying to find out some info on some gear he's having trouble getting specs on.

Let's not argue semantics, eh?

Then I retract my previous statement about that diagram you posted not applying.I was very much under the impression that you had SVC subs. Apparently I was wrong ~ sorry about that, friend.
Same here, guess the website I looked at was wrong.

You can wire it the way you posted as long as your amp is stable at that impedance.

Im just wondering why some of the websites are claiming they are svc when infact they are dvc cuz ive never in my live seen a svc with 4 terminals on it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
