Is my sub blown?

Was playing stereo today andall te sudden 1 sub jsut got this awfull noise sounding like a insane buzzing form the cone. It play fine at low to moderate volumes but once it starts hitting real hard the noise comes outa the sub. Its 2 l7 10's 06 model and a 1500 watt rms amp. The subs have been in for 2 days yes 2 ****ing days. Any suggestions is it blown or is there a fix or anything i should check for or look for.Its played fine for the last 2 days and today the sound started. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Take a DMM and measure the coils...if one's shorted or significantly different than the other, you have a problem.

Any fix? I got a 1 year warranty anyone ever sent shit back to kicker? Im so ****ing pissed of got 15 days of leave and have spent all summer getting this system together to have this shit happen. I had to punch myself in the dick lke 5 times just to make sure it was really happening. How can I tell if its unglued? Is there a fix to that glue it or soemthing?

Send it back in if you have a warrenty. If you sent it the right amount of wattage, and didn't abuse the crap out of it, I'm sure they'll fix or replace it. Don't stress yourself out over something as small as a messed up driver. Life goes on.

could it be an air leak. Cause it slike the sub is bottoming out but just one side. BUt at like 1-15 it plays fine hits hard and sounds good. The sub goes into buzz fest when hard bass hits.

might of blown a voice coil maybe take the sub out and press down slowly making the cone go up and down if u hear a scratching sound or simmilar u blew a voice coil

My spider came unglued once, scared the piss outta me. Epoxy and a case of beer got it fixed for me, all I did was buy the beer lol.
