The wire off the coil to the terminal has seen to blown off somehow. How it happened I dont know?

The sub is a JL 10w3v3. 2ohm version.

The amp was a TMA 500X1.

My setup was at 2ohms, amp was turned halfway up.

The sub should be able to handle 500 fine, and I was nowhere near there estimated 350 at most.

So is this wire repairable? I tried to solder it, and it didnt really work.....

just scrap it and get something better next time. not worth what it would cost to fix, especially if soldering didn't work.

At that power range, I doubt your leads were slapping hard... and the charred spot on your spider points to more internal damage.

Likely the coil heated up, and the part that was under fatigue loading failed first... the flopping wires.

JL recones are generally not worth it, for w3's. Only from the factory.

I'd move the cone around and see if your voice coil is the same color as the ends of your leads (blackened). If so, trash it... if not, attempt to solder it until you are too frustrated to try anymore. Good luck!

^^^^ to elaborate on what this guy said, just because it is turned up halfway doesn't mean you are only getting half the wattage. The gain knob is just that, a gain knob, not a volume knob. It is used to set with the rest of your amps, and is dependent on H/U voltage, etc. It looks fried. You could try splicing a little wire or something in there, but it may be time for an upgrade.
