i've learnt to go with your first instinct lol....because what you decide on first is usually better than the 2nd choice ( in my cases anyways)

yeah it had me on the floor rolling.....this thread is like that but in a different way...i mean cmon...one 12w7 has the potential to displace more air than 2 12w3's

and can handle just as much power as both those 12's combined

it's obvious that you won't. that may sound a tad rude but get this, it really is simple: as it has been stated above repeatedly tonight, we are limited here in this guys install by an amplifier of 600wrms capability. if you knew more than the mechanical throw capabilities of each subwoofer, you would catch the fact that the larger vented box of the 12W3's as compared to the single 12W7 coupled with the near doubling of cone area and a dash of fact that the 12W3's will move further on 300w each than the W7 can dream of, because of the "irrelevant" sensitivity of the drivers. we would all come to the conclusion that the 12W3's will outpound the single 12W7 or 12W6 with our given limitations. there is only an argument when someone does not read or just plain accept that there are stipulations to the install. it is not nor ever was a limitless amplifier power install. to also point out something that may be of importance to you, when we put 1000/1's on 12 and 13W7's that are loaded in W7 JL enclosures, as a single subwoofer in a vented box versus a pair of 12W3's on a 500/1, you are within
