Is it possible to repair the outer foam on speakers. If so then with what or how. Thanks for the help. I'm asking cause i'm getting a good deal on some used infinity 5.25 speakers but one of them has the foam ripped.

a lot of people use a very thin coat of silicone

I used to have a cheap sub and I ripped the foam surround. A thin layer of silicone will do the trick, I speak from exerience.

I had a caulk gun so i went to wal mart and bought the cheapest gun type silicon they had. sealed two boxes and had plenty to fix the sub.
